Portal improvements

Since joining Phlo in 2023, my work has helped scale our internal prescribing portal from a small clinical tool to a system processing thousands of orders each week. Through constant iteration, weekly observation sessions, and understanding how our teams work, we continue improving the platform to give our clinicians everything they need, all in one place.

Clinical Decisions

Clinical Decisions has been one of our biggest projects to date, focused on simplifying how prescribers complete safety checks. Before this, our teams relied on free-text notes, slowing down workflows and limiting structured data. After six months of research, design, and testing, we launched in June 2025, paving the way for a central patient record system.

I run weekly observation sessions with our clinical teams to track how they use the prescribing portal in real scenarios. From these sessions, I design and share weekly insight reports with the wider product team — highlighting opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce prescribing times, and improve how we capture key patient data. Alongside this, we introduced a monthly UX Health Check survey in May 2025 to capture both quantitative and qualitative feedback from our clinical teams. The results help guide our priorities and shape the product roadmap based on real user needs.
